Double ended threaded studs are a kind of fastener that have equal lengths of their shaft threaded on both the ends of the fastener. These fasteners are available in four classes of stainless steel i.e. - double ended wheel studs can be made from austenitic, martensitic, ferritic and precipitation-hardened grades of stainless steels.
The stainless steel double end threaded studs are considered to be one of the most versatile fasteners because of its use in multiple equipment’s. These features are not only known to enhance the service life length of the fastener, but are also very cost effective. ss 316 double ended studs can be finished by various techniques like plating with Zinc (Yellow, White, Blue, Black), Zinc-Nickel plated, or coating with Hop Dip Galvanized. Other finishes used on the fastener include Black Oxide, Geomet, Dacroment, anodization and plating with metals like Nickel, Brass, Tin, Copper, Gold or Black Plating.
